About Floral Pixie
Hi, thanks for visiting and taking your time scroll through the site.
My floristry journey started on a day in 2010 when I walked into a local flower shop, I was attracted by the beauty and fragrances of the flowers. I then became a volunteer helper at the shop and followed by taking a one year floristry course at Southwark College in London.
In the beginning of my florist career, I had worked at designer flower shops in central London, making flower arrangements for hotels and restaurants. Later I worked as a freelancer for a number of luxury event décor companies. In 2016, I started my own business. Taking the advantage of being a native Chinese, I import high quality silk flowers and centrepieces from Chinese manufacturers directly. All the floral arrangements in the wedding portfolios on my website were made from silk flowers for my customers. I can supply silk flowers only or with floral designs as required.
Floristry is one of the jobs that you would never get bored of it, because you are always given different projects to create and tasks to challenge yourself. I am lucky to be able to enjoy what I do and my passion for creativity is still growing.
